Mobile Lifting Jacks for Rail Vehicles

For České dráhy's new repair hall in Cheb, AUTOLIFT supplies 20 mobile lifting jacks — engineered for the vehicle mix of that specific hall.

České dráhy (ČD) have put a new repair hall into service at their Cheb maintenance centre: three tracks of 165 metres each, inspection pits, a gantry crane, platforms for work on bogies and vehicle roofs. Complete vehicles are lifted on 20 mobile lifting jacks from AUTOLIFT.

A Vehicle Mix That Changes Over the Years

Cheb maintains long-distance and regional trains in the Karlovy Vary region and parts of the Ústí nad Labem region. Planned work covers ten five-car InterJet trainsets from running maintenance up to G2 overhaul, the general overhaul of nine-car ComfortJet sets from October 2027, participation in the Railjet modernisation from 2028, and regional units of the RegioShark, RegioFox and RegioPanter types throughout.

Length, wheelbase and the position of the lifting points differ on every one of them. Mobile lifting jacks are not tied to a section of track: they are positioned along the tracks exactly where a given vehicle carries its lifting points, and used in the number that vehicle requires. The same system therefore also covers the vehicles that only arrive in 2027 and 2028 — with no structural changes to the building.
